Photo of the Week

Photo: JaMarcus Russell at the LSU vs Ohio State BCS National Championship game. The first thing that crossed my mind when I saw Russell decked out in this sweater was that he must have been a big fan of the Bill Cosby Show! Fashion sensibilities: A fusion of old school Cliff Huxtable styling and modern hip hop flavor. Yikes!

I hope that sweater didn't come with any accessories, e.g., bongs, blades or guns. I'm more worried about the former, because he looks a little subdued in the photo.

Are you kidding me with that comment? Oh please!! You must have been "subdued" when you decided to type that.

Not to mention the dinner plate size medal around his neck that says "Bamma Boy" in real stones.....Is this an example of class? To much money for a young man to handle. I feel very uneasy about this clown.

agreed with kigleigh, definitely stevie wonder-esque (who is a fantastic guy by the way). the technicolour dreamcoat blast was awesome too.
i just wonder how many batteries it took to light it up like that? or i wonder if he's hiding his secret pregnancy? i just hope when his kids are born, he doesn't go britney spears on us.

I heard about his appearance at the BCS game, but this is the first picture I've seen.

Is there a better shot of the bling around his neck? Heard it was outrageous.

It does concern me some, but then again aren't a lot of modern day athletes dressing like Liberace (see Deon Sanders)? I prefer the modest, professional behavior of guys like LT and Marvin Harrison myself, but JaMarcus is still young I guess.

If the Raiders could just trade for Chad Johnson, they'd make quite a couple.
